Internet Safety & Digital Citizenship

In today's world, technology has become an integral part of our daily lives, and while it brings many benefits, it also presents various challenges and risks, especially for children and teens who are new to it. Our program aims to provide a safe and supportive environment where participants can learn about online safety, privacy, and responsible digital citizenship.

Through interactive and engaging sessions, our experienced instructors  cover a range of topics, including social media safety, cyberbullying, online identity theft, and more. We will also teach participants about the importance of digital footprints, online reputation management, and how to stay safe when using various digital tools and platforms.

Our program is tailored specifically to meet the unique needs and challenges faced by BIPOC youth and immigrant families. We recognize that there are unique cultural considerations that may influence how participants engage with technology, and we aim to create a culturally responsive learning environment that is inclusive and welcoming to all.

By participating in our Internet Safety for Children and Teens program, BIPOC youth and immigrant families gain the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions about their online behavior, build positive digital relationships, and stay safe while using technology.
