CHRM Program Foster

Bridging Cultural Gaps (BCG) is a nonprofit organization established by a group of immigrants and has been serving the disadvantaged and alienated immigrant and refugee population in the King County area. The program that BCG will implement in Foster High School is called Cultural Restoration of the Hearts and Minds (CHRM). Cultural communication has a significant impact on engagement and participation. BCG addresses issues around cultural dimensions to solve conflicts that arise due to cultural values, designations, and approach. We impower youth and/or families to build listening to learn skills by creating opportunities to foster a community and shared responsibility to care and support each other.
